Caught

Los Angeles is melting. It is raining right now. Actually raining not just a pathetic drizzle. People don’t know what to do. There’s statuses about it, people are talking about it, no one knows what to wear. It’s the end of the world.

I actually woke up early to day at 8, with Karen to go to the gym. When I looked out the window, I screamed just a little inside, waking Diana up from her short slumber. I was not going to the gym in this weather. I was running outside. The thought was crazy I know. Karen gave me some serious reasons not tod o it: Its cold (I told her I run in the snow),  its wet (usually this natural phenomenon is wet), and its not the gym (This one I couldn’t refute because it is true. I ended up running to the gym with Karen, and then leaving her to enjoy the wet drops pour all over me. I began my journey.

While running, and listening to Grouplove of course, I people watched.I concluded that if people weren’t so worried about their hair, they would be giving me incredulous stares. How dare someone choose to be alive in this weather let alone run in it?!? How dare this person even own a raincoat!?! What even IS a raincoat!?!!?!?!?!?!

It was crazy.

I found the most confusing part of rain is the choice of footwear. While splashing through puddles I saw:

Ugg Boots (Very bad idea)

Leather Boots. (Even worse idea)

High Heels (Probably the worst idea I have ever heard of.)

I want to help those of you during this complicated period of Precipitation. No need to to hide in your dorm room. The rain won’t hurt! Take a hot shower and drink some tea. The sun will be back tomorrow I can guarantee it!
